Respectfully, in accordance with the above subject, to inform you that G.C.E.R.T. By letter dated 14/7/2022, the time table of the first session periodic evaluation test has been published. Studying which every subject teacher has to take a test of one standard every week in the periodical test. There does not seem to be enough time for post-test assessment, remedial work and re-testing.
If the tests are conducted as per the programme, there will be 100% serious impact on the education of the children. A teacher cannot do justice to the course by being involved in the assessment of tests, remedial work and data entry. Which will affect the education of the school children of the entire state. In addition, BLOs are also under a lot of pressure for “home to home” voter registration operations. While series of circulars are still going on for various education programs, it is our humble request to you sir that if we are all working together to improve the quality of education, the real situation should be studied at the grassroots and the period of periodical examination should be reduced and teachers should work with the children in the classroom. It is our urgent request to you to give enough time to do it.
