Introduction:
Gujarat Panchayat Seva Selection Board, Gandhinagar (hereinafter referred to as “Board”) invites online applications for selection of candidates through direct recruitment to the post of Gram Panchayat Secretary (Talati Cum Mantri) (Class-III) cadre of Panchayat Seva. . For this, the candidate should apply online on the website https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in from 28-01-2022 (13-00 hours in the afternoon) to 15-02-2022 (23-59 hours in the night). Application has to be made. Also General Category Candidates last date to pay exam fee Rs.100/- + service charge online through SBI E Pay is 17-02-2022 (will be from 23-59 hours at night) and examination in cash in post office by challan. The last date for payment of fee will be 17-02-2022. (But for that the printout of post office challan must be taken by 15-02-2022.) Further details for payment of examination fee are mentioned in paragraph-19 which must be read. is The candidate has to scan the recent Photograph (15 kb) and Signature (15 kb) in size not exceeding jpg format and keep it ready in the computer, which has to be uploaded in the online application. The applicant has to keep all his educational, age and caste and other qualification certificates with him as mentioned in the online application and after informing the candidates about this, they have to submit it for verification in person, which everyone should take note of.
Education Qualifications:
Gujarat Panchayat Service (Class-3) issued in competitive written examination dated 22-7-2021 of the Panchayat, Village Housing and Village Development Department of the Government of Gujarat vide Notification No: KP/20/2021/PRR/10/2014/106/K As per the provision of Recruitment (Examination) Rules, 2021 only -1 (one) written question paper (objective) shall be as follows:-

“General Awareness and General Knowledge” includes questions related to –
- General Mental Ability and General Intelligence.
- History of India and History of Gujarat. 3. Cultural heritage of India and Gujarat.
- Geography of India and Geography of Gujarat 5. Sports.
- Indian Polity and the Constitution of India,
- Panchayati Raj.
- Welfare schemes of Gujarat State and Union Government. 9. Indian Economy and Planning.
- General Science, Environment and Information & Communication Technology.
- Current affairs of Regional, National and International Importance. NOTE: The question papers shall be of objective type MCQs (multiple choice questions).
In this competitive exam, OMR answer sheet of objective questions covering the topics mentioned above. (Optical Marks Reading) method shall be
1 (one) mark will be awarded for each correct answer indicated by the candidate in the OMR. Minus method has been introduced in the multiplication system by Mandal. According to which –
(1) Marks will be deducted (-0.33) minus zero point thirty three) for each wrong answer.
(ii) (-0.33) minus zero point thirty-three) marks will be deducted for each answer left blank. (iii) For each answer where more than one option is indicated or checked
(-0.33)( minus zero point thirty three) marks will be deducted.
(iv) There will be an option “E” “Not Attempted”] in the answers to each question. If the candidate does not want to answer any question, he can select this option and negative marking will not be applicable in case of selecting the option “Not Attempted”. Thus, the marks obtained by deducting the total marks obtained by the candidate from the total marks obtained by correct answer as per (i), (ii), (iii) mentioned above, the marks obtained by the candidate will be valid.
Salary Scale:
As the selected candidate will be appointed on this post on contractual basis, the Finance Department dt. Resolution No.: Kharach-2002-57-Z-1 dated 29-4-2010, and Resolution No. Kharach/2002/57/Part-2/Z-1 dated 6-10-2011 and Resolution No.:- Kharach/2002/ 57/Part-2/Z-1 dated 20-10-2014 and Resolution No:-Kharach/2002/57 (Part-2)/Z-1 dated 20-10-2015 and Resolution No:-Kharach/2002/57/Part -2/Z-1 dated 18-1-2017 will be appointed on a fixed salary of Rs.19950/- per month for the first five years and other benefits prescribed by this resolution will be available.
